Whilst Stefan designs many gardens alone, he also believes that no one person can offer all the skills and talent necessary to utilise the potential of every site. He feels especially strongly that many, especially larger and historic sites, benefit from significant architectural expertise. Where it's appropriate therefore, he calls on the skills of other talented and highly experienced professionals, notably the architectural partnership of Hawkes, Edwards and Cave and designer and architectural water-colourist David Woulfe.

The partners in Hawkes, Edwards and Cave are William Hawkes, MA, Dip Arch (Cantab), ARIBA, AABC and Trevor Edwards, BA (Hons), Dip Arch (Birm), RIBA. The award winning partnership has huge experience, especially in one-off new commissions and in dealing with historic properties and their gardens. Among their clients are the Landmark Trust, English Heritage and the Ancient Monuments Society. Their work on old properties has often involved snatching a building back from the edge of collapse and dereliction and ensuring its future by putting it to a new use. Of their garden design work on a water feature and summerhouse for a distinguished Cotswold manor, The Telegraph said "Lutyens couldn't have done better himself".

David Woulfe MSIAD, MSIA has spent a lifetime in design both as a senior lecturer and in private practice. He is a member of the Society of Artists and Designers and the Society of Architectural Illustrators and brings a special and highly individual talent to his visualisations of design proposals. For the past twenty five years David has worked as a perspectivist for architects, planners and landscape designers and his illustrations are highly sought after works of art in their own right.
